Regional Business Development Manager - Boise
RC Willey is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial sales team. This role is focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities within a defined territory while building lasting relationships with key accounts. They will lead efforts in account acquisition and early-stage customer engagement, partnering with internal teams and executive leadership to drive ongoing growth and success for both RC Willey and our business partners.
Competitive base salary plus EOY bonus tied to sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Account Acquisition & Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted accounts. Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients in the business-to-business sector and expand market presence.
  • Account Management: Maintain ownership of accounts secured through your efforts, delivering exceptional service and consistent communication to foster client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  • Relationship Development: Establish and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers. Gain a thorough understanding of their objectives and challenges to provide tailored solutions and maintain trust.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and execute strategic sales plans that align with organizational goals, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Regional Commercial Sales Managers to ensure a seamless transition from acquisition to account management, supporting continued relationship development and client success.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activity &customer interactions.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of demonstrated success in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and convert leads into long-term client partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a talent for developing customized solutions based on client needs.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and modern sales enablement tools.
  • A bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required. What matters most is a proven ability to follow through and relevant experience—especially in construction sales, construction management, or procurement roles responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials.
