Additionally, the patented Polk Power Port Technology extends the overall bass port, providing greater surface area to eliminate turbulence and distortion for louder, deeper, more musical bass impact. With high sensitivity and 4 & 8 Ohm compatibility, the ES55 delivers realistic sound from nearly any amplifier or receiver—including the latest Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound AVRs and supports playback in latest high-resolution movie formats along with music streamed over services like Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music HD, Qobuz and Spotify HiFi. It is Hi-Res Audio Certified, and Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatible and can be used as a rear/side speaker or as elevation surrounds for a multi-channel home theater setup. Create a complete home theater by adding other Signature Elite Series speakers (sold separately). Add the Signature Elite ES10 surround speaker pair, ES35 center channel and any subwoofer for a complete 5.1 surround setup.
